LIGHT
Pool lights are a night time safety device that allows people to see their way around the design of the pool. Lights also have aesthetic value, as lights can enhance the overall appearance of your backyard setting.
MAIN DRAIN
The main drain for a pool is a suction port that should be located at the deepest point on the pool floor. A main drain is responsible for aiding in the circulation and filtration of the pool water. Having a properly working and dedicated main drain line can also allow you to fully drain your pool if necessary.
CONTROLLER
The controller is the brain of your pool system. The controller can be digital or mechanical. It is responsible for turning the equipment on and off on the daily basis. The controller is also responsible for turning on the pool equipment to circulate water due to freezing temperatures.
SKIMMER
Skimmers help keep your pool free of light debris such as leaves that find their way into the pool. Depending on the season, you should empty these daily to weekly. Emptying skimmers regularly helps avoid potentially costly problems related to restricted water flow such as clogged lines, and pump repairs.
PUMP
The pump is the heart of the equipment set. A properly working pump will circulate water through the entire system. The pump basket should be emptied weekly to allow for the best possible flow. Additional pumps on a set have a specific task such as a water feature or pressurizing a cleaner.
FILTER
Filters are responsible for clarifying water by removing suspended particulates. Maintaining the filter is extremely important regardless of the type of filter. A properly maintained filter will work more efficiently, properly circulate, and allow for optimal water clarity.
HEATER
The pool heater is an optional piece of equipment. Often, they are installed to heat spas attached to a pool, but can heat the pool. When enabled, the heater will heat water to a specified temperature. Heater mechanics are simple, however, the integrated safety features and ignition control can be complicated and require an experience technician to repair. The primary goal is safety for the user and home.
CHEMICAL FEEDER
The function of a chemical feeder is to help maintain a constant presence of an oxidizer or sanitizer in the pool water. Chemical feeders should be the last piece of equipment installed on your equipment set to avoid damaging any equipment installed upstream of the feeder due to the high or low pH values.
FULL SERVICE
Your pool is the center of outdoor recreation for the entire family. However, dealing with repairing equipment, balancing chemicals and cleaning often spoils the fun. Therefore, you need reliable pool care so you can enjoy your swimming pool the entire season. Most importantly, our pool technicians are Texas certified. Consequently, we provide full service when it comes to pool maintenance. For example, these services include water level checks, water chemistry tests, cleaning services and more!
CHEMICAL SERVICE
If you want to enjoy a safe swim every time you jump into the pool, then the water must maintain a certain chemical balance. However, pools without enough chemicals can harbor harmful bacteria, fungus or algae. Furthermore, swimming pools that have chemical concentrations that are too high can also cause eye and skin irritations or even sickness. But, our expert pool specialists can find the right chemistry to help you have a comfortable and safe swim.
GREEN TO CLEAN/DRAIN & CLEAN
Occasionally, your pool needs to be completely flushed out, cleaned and refilled. If this is not done at the proper intervals, then you could start having hard water issues or worse. As a result, checking with our team of experts can help you get this service taken care of right. If you see black algae or your water is green, then call us at (512) 829-0546.
